who said something traditional, with centuries old history can’t be made and worn with style? and I keep wondering – why not? pastalas (traditional Latvian footwear, nowadays usually worn only to national festivities) made in more fancy color gets a new life. thank you Linda Leen for the idea! black pair of pastalas has paid my attention…

kurš teica, ka kaut kas tradicionāls, ar gadsimtiem ilgu vēsturi nevar tikt valkāts ar stilu mūsdienās? jā – kapēc ne? pastalas izgatavotas košākās, interesantākās krāsās ir ieguvušas pilnīgi jaunu ideju kā tās valkāt. līdz šim pastalas man ir asociējušās tikai un vienīgi ar tautiskajām dejām un baisi kodīgajām vilnas zeķēm tajās.
