summer food: mushroom tarts

I love to cook, by the way. and summer is the season I love to experiment with local ingredients. lately it’s been mushroom tarts with tomato, goat’s cheese and fresh basil I made. (if interested, ask for recipe)

it’s Latvian! house on artificially created island

it’s the summer house of one of the top architects in Latvia and her family. there’s quite an interesting history of the building and the island – it’s the only artificially created island in Baltic Sea and supposed to be used for fish industry, but never was. now it’s settled as stylish, industrial but comfy living place. there’s top class furniture and lighting, originally designed fireplace and impressive size dining table.

vai tas ir jaunais stils? vispār jā, tas aizņem maz vietas, tas izskatās stilīgi un vispār ir neredzams, ir redzami tikai skaistie augi. gudra laistīšanas sistēma, laistīšana nesabojās sienu. tā ir Wally puķu “kabatu” sienas sistēma no wollypocket. ar rokām šūti ASV, jānočeko kur  Wally nopērkami Eiropā.

I love black houses. I would live in this house all year long, I’m serious. beautiful materials, attractive, well planned interior and sea few hundred meters away… and all this in Denmark.
