there’s bunch of ideas in my head about my twin girls separate room. haven’t yet decided on the style, but the use of some antique things will be surely as in this kids room in some French house.

would you live in a house like this?

in pictures it’s nice, rustic, with interesting textures, with smell of the past. I’m totally fan of old things, especially when I know the history. I have really few furniture pieces that are bought new. But… where is that point when old is too much and you actually don’t create your own history by bringing contemporary things in your life?

vai jūs varētu dzīvot tādā vietā kā šī? bildēs tā ir skaista, raupja, ar interesantām tekstūrām, gluži vai pagātnes smaržu. bet… vai tiešām tādā vidē var pastāvīgi dzīvot? es pilnībā esmu vecu lietu cienītāja, vēl jo vairāk, ja zinu vēsturi kādai lietai. un manā mājā ir tikai dažas mēbeles, kas pirktas jaunas. bet… kur ir tā robeža, kad vecais ir par daudz un jūs, neienesot interjerā jaunas lietas, neradiet savu vēsturi?

there’s one cool place in Riga, that opened just moments before New Year – new Vīna Studija (Wine Studio) at Stabu Str. that’s the place I want to visit as soon as possible. interior is not a surprise – simple, pale, stylish, just as I thought and just as I love.
